The Point Two Soft Shell is discreet and stylish for virtually any activity. Identical to any other soft shell jacket used for show jumping, schooling or hacking out but with one major difference – it has a fully integrated Point Two ProAir2 airbag and trigger system.

Point Two’s exclusive trigger system is discreetly hidden in the front pocket of the jacket with a small opening for the lanyard which can be hidden within the jacket when not riding.

***Point Two - Important Information***

There is an advertisement appearing in this week’s Horse & Hound (14 Feb 2013, p37) which states that if people have a Point Two jacket with the Helite airbag system they will need to send it to Treehouse or Helite if they want to have the jacket serviced.

This is not correct, Point Two has manufacturers’ insurance that enables it to manufacture, assemble and service all air jackets that it has sold under the Point Two brand, whether with Point Two’s own airbag and trigger system, or that supplied by a third party.

Customers can be assured that we will continue to service and maintain their jackets, applying the experience we have gained over the last four years in developing and improving the air jackets.

LAUNCHING THE NEW POINT TWO “HUNTER”

Point Two has launched a new model of its popular ProAir jacket – The Hunter.

Interest from hunts has grown significantly over recent seasons with enquiries from hunt staff, subscribers and members of the field.

However, we have also been aware there is a lot of tradition behind hunting and while many people saw the benefits of the jacket, they were asking for something more shaped and subtle.

So, for the 2012/13 season we have launched a new model –

“The Hunter”. Based upon the original ProAir, the Hunter has a zipped front for a more stylish look.

The jackets are only available in Black and Navy Blue, and can be purchased without any external Point Two branding. The new jackets will be available RRP of £433 inc VAT. Please allow 28 days for delivery of the new product.

Point Two is teaming up with Saddle Up for Spinal Research to promote rider safety and help raise money for research!

Saddle Up for Spinal Research is the rider-dedicated arm of the charity. Horse riders are very passionate about their sport and love what they do, but they recognise the risks involved. Sadly severe injuries to the neck and back can lead to paralysis, meaning a loss of movement in arms and hands, an inability to breathe on your own and in some cases a total lack of independence. Paralysis means so much more than not being able to walk and Spinal Research are here to give people hope that spinal cord injury will not mean a life time of paralysis.

Riders from eleven nations choose Point Two for 2012

This year's eventing season is well and truly underway and it is clear to see the number of riders choosing the Point Two air jacket to compete in. The jackets are certainly not going unnoticed by overseas riders either, with riders from Great Britain, Belgium, Ireland, Australia, USA, France, Germany, South Africa, Canada, Italy and Sweden all choosing to wear Point Two jackets at the big events through 2012.

Five year warranty on all airbags - register now

All Point Two air jackets now come with a five year warranty on the airbag component. The warranty covers jackets purchased from any Point Two outlet and is applicable to the original owner of the jacket.

The warranty is subject to the jacket being serviced annually by Point Two. The jacket will be serviced by a Point Two engineer who will make an initial visual assessment of the jacket, test the integrity of the shell, the trigger system and the airbag and checked for any signs of wear and tear that might impede its performance.

If any reduction in the airbag performance is detected when inflating during testing (either while still in the shell or removed from the shell) the airbag will be replaced FOC for the customer.

The jacket will then be reassembled and test inflated before being returned to the owner with a breakdown of the condition of each area of the jacket.

If a jacket is purchased second hand the remainder of any warranty can only be transferred once the jacket has been submitted for a service and jacket assessment.

If you have already purchased your Point Two jacket and have submitted it for a service it will automatically be eligible for the warranty. If you have not previously submitted your jacket for servicing register your details here and we will confirm whether it is eligible.
